Here's a conversation that Beau and I had with Taryn today on the way home from church.
T: mommy can we get a pig?
M: like a pet pig?
T:Yes, can we get a pet pig?
M: Um, I don't think our house would be a good home for a pig.
T: Can we ask daddy?
(Beau was on duty so I had to call him on the phone)
M:Sure we can ask daddy.
M speaking to Beau: Taryn wants to know if we can get a pet pig?
B:Um...a pig? Yeah..NO!
M:daddy says no Taryn
T:okay, how about a giraffe?
B: we don't have enough room for a giraffe
T:how about a zebra?
B:no
T:okay, what about a squirrel?
B:we don't have any nuts for a squirrel
T:well we can buy some. Mommy I guess daddy says we can't get any pets.
Isn't she funny!
I was helping Olivia with her writing journal today and she was trying to write the word sports. I was having her sound it out, but she was having a hard time with it.
O:I don't know how to spell it mommy it's too hard!
M:sound it out Olivia
O:okay, it has two 's' one at the beginning and one at the end.
M:good now what's in the middle?
O:the rest of the letters....
duh mommy! HaHa!!!

Super cute! By the way, guinea pigs seem to be a pretty good pet...
So funny! Your little chicas are so cute! I am thinking you should get them a baby hippo... :) I don't think Beau can say no to that.
OMG they're sooo funny!! I can't wait for Liam to come up with things like that! Right now any words would be nice ;) lol! Although maybe it's nice he can't talk yet either!??! lol.
I'm glad you record some off your conversations, because they'll never believe you when their older.
