Throwing ourselves a Birthday Party!

Beau and I both turned 30 this year! Beau on the 13th and me on August 1. We thought that turning 30 deserved a bit of a celebration and since none of our family members lived close by to throw us a party we would throw ourselves one. So, we had a BBQ down at the park. Here are a few pics, I didn't take too many.

The girls chillin' out before our guest arrived

The cake, tasted really yummy! It was a devil's food cake with mint chocolate truffle filling and mind fondant. I still need some more practice, but from a distant it looks really pretty.

Beau insisting that we needed to blow out candles on our birthday even though the wind was blowing so hard that you couldn't even keep the lighter lit!

Everyone singing to us and Beau still trying to keep the candles lit:)

Beau and some of his friends played a little softball and it was pretty hot out

Taryn was FILTHY! that girl had everything on her cake, dirt, ketchup, watermelon, sweat you name it she was sportin' it!

This picture is for Jessica, she had to take off early and and wanted to see what the inside of the cake looked like
