None of our children ever really took to a pacifier or a blankie, but they all have attached themselves to a snugli. My grandmother bought Olivia her very first snugli and for the first 4 years of her life you never really saw her without it! Beau and I decided early on that we were going to name them for our children ( I know we're super controlling!). Of course they had to be named after baseball players..HA! It has always been a little bit like naming our children, long discussions and having to agree on one. So, I thought I'd introduce you to the extra members of our families and their namesakes.
This is Mo, he was named after Mo Vaughn and belongs to Olivia
This is Mimi, He was named after Manny Ramirez (Taryn couldn't say Manny, she could only sat Mimi and it kind of stuck!), and he belongs to Taryn.
This is Griffey, named after Ken Griffey, Jr. and he belongs to Kerrigan
And this is the newest member of the family...Nolan, named after Nolan Ryan and he belongs to Asher.
As you can tell they all have been extremely loved. They have all been lost at one time or another, but for some miracle we've always found them! Mo was actually lost for about a week until we found him at the Mall. Once the girls turn four they are no longer allowed to carry them around or sleep with them. We make a big deal about it and let the girls put them up themselves. We have never really had a hard time breaking the girls of them and they really have become a part of our family.

That last sentence made me tear up. This is such a sweet post, Lenette. They are a part of the family and will hold so many memories for our kids and ourselves..especially of that first year with them. Mazzy has TiTi (Teddy) and Max has Panda (Panda) and Binkit (his blanket).
