"Grammee's the boss"!

Just wanted to share a recent conversation with Taryn.

T: "mommy, you know what I told daddy?"

Me: "I don't, what did you tell daddy?"

T: "I told him you said I could bring MiMi downstairs" (MiMi is her little snuggli she's had since she was born and she's only allowed to have in her bed).

Me: "You did?" "But mommy never said that did she?"

T: "Well, Grammee said I could"

Me: "She did, did she?" "Well Grammee's not exactly here is she?" "Who's the boss around here?"

T:"Grammee's the Boss!"

M:"No mommy and daddy are the Boss"

T: "No, Grammee is"

Me:"Oh really, well let's just call Grammee and see what she thinks about that."

So I called my mom, but ended up with my Step-dad, who had my mom's phone. I brought him in on the conversation and he had me tell Taryn that Grammee wasn't the Boss of our house.

To which Taryn promptly responded.

"Oh, yes she is!"

What a little stinker she is!!!!!
