What a great day!!

I have to say that today was one of the best Sunday's that I've had since living in Florida! I usually DREAD sunday's, especially when Beau is gone. It's very hard by myself with the two girls. It can get a bit overwhelming. I don't know why, but the girls always argue more, are so disagreeable and drive me up the wall during sacrament meeting. But today was different. We had a few tug of wars before we left and Taryn wouldn't take a nap (I usually put her down early on sunday's because church is at 1pm.) so I was preparing myself for another go round. It was really windy today and of course I chose to wear this flowy skirt that kept blowing up! I'm glad no one acted like they saw anything! Anyway, I was a little frustrated with that, but once we got into church the girls were amazing!
Olivia was so quiet, she folded her hands for all of the prayers, she got her own hymnal and pretended to sing along. She didn't cause any fights with Taryn and very nicely asked when she had to go potty. She sat with her lace-up book and just was so grown up!
Taryn was so well behaved too. I usually make her sit on my lap the intire time, but she got down and colored and I only had to retrieve her from under the pew twice! She wanted her own hymnal and she lead the music right along with the chorister. It's so cute I love it when little kids do that! She did scream at Olivia or fight with her. She did do a little booty shaking to the closing hymn, but she was sooo good! I love my girls!
Our Sunday School lesson went right along with my lesson in Relief Society (I teach the 3rd sunday lesson) and it was a really good discussion. The lady that teaches the 2nd sunday session is this really neat lady named Kathleen Hall she is 50 years old and has never been married. She is really sweet, but with a powerful personallity. She is an amazing photographer and owns her own successful business. And th most amazing thing happened to her. She got engaged!! She met this man on-line at some LDS website and now she is getting married. One can never give up hope. She was just beaming from ear to ear all day today and I was so happy for her. She has been engaged for 1 month but kept it to herself until now, because they wanted to make sure his kids were okay with it. So after all this time she will be a wife and a mother! It is just so exciting!
My lesson was so wonderful today too! It was on selfless service. My favorite topic. I owe that to my mom. She was the greatest example to me of serving selflessly. We all need to remember how blessed we are and to be humbled don't we? The discussions went well and even the crazy ladies (you know you all have them) get their comments appropriate. :)
Alright, I'm done gushing about my day. I hope you all had a wonderful Sabbath day as well! Have a happy Monday!
