So I've been thinking a lot lately how I've wanted to make this blog a little more personal. I'm not one to share my thoughts and feelings. But since I pretty much suck at keeping a written journal and I know how important it is to keep a record of my life, I think this is as good a place as any to write down those things.
I've been feeling pretty frustrated lately. I suppose a lot of it has to do with Beau being gone, worrying about selling our house, sad about leaving my comfort zone and all of my friends. So I think that maybe I need to post some things that I am grateful for.
I should probably start with my kids. I haven't been the nicest of Mom's lately. Olivia and Taryn have been on Spring Break this week. We were planning a family camping trip until we found out Beau had to be gone so we've been stuck here at the house. I think they are probably ready to go back to school just to be away from me! I do love my kids, they are awesome! I really am a lucky lady, I just need to show and tell it more!
Olivia: This is one sweet little girl! She is so kind and helpful. She is such a big help with Asher and loves to play with him. I can count on her for anything. She rarely talks back or argues with us. She loves her friends and is a very sweet friend back. She is beautiful. She loves school and loves to learn. I LOVE THIS GIRL!
Taryn: Oh my! What to say about Taryn?! Taryn is the funniest little kid! She lives in her own little world. She loves her brother, looks up to her older sister and plays so sweetly (most of the time) with her little sister. She keeps us laughing daily with her stories and comments. She's so observant and smart. She loves to read and write and does both exceptionally well for her age. She has one amazing imagination!! And that is an understatement! I LOVE THIS GIRL!
Kerrigan: This is one mess of a little girl! She looks homeless half the time! She is such a sassy, full of life little monkey. She is the most lovey of all my kids and would be happy to just snuggle up to mommy and stay there for the rest of her life. She is on fire from the moment she wakes up in the morning until the time she goes to bed. She LOVES her sisters so much. She wants to be independent and do EVERYTHING herself, unless she isn't in the mood and then she wants me to do it all for her! She sure has a mind of her own. I LOVE THIS GIRL!
Beau and I are such lucky parents! We've been blessed with 4 amazing kids! When our daily life gets in the way I sometimes forget how awesome they are! I LOVE THESE KIDS!
