The little man is 1 week old today.....how time flies! He is such a good baby. He doesn't cry much, in fact the only time he really cries is when you change his diaper, he gets really mad. It's kinda funny because as soon as you get his diaper on he starts to calm down and once you snap him all the way back up he's completely done crying! We finally figured out the peeing through the clothes problem, the Vaseline to help with his circumcision was preventing the diaper from absorbing anything. He is all healed up now and we haven't had an issue since. But I have to laugh because he has pooped on and peed on Beau twice now! I guess he's just sharing the love with his dad! ;)
Beau mentioned the other day how each day with Asher is a day gone that we will never experience again. And not just with Asher, but with any baby/child. I thought about it in the hospital just after I had him, but didn't think of it again until Beau mentioned it. I think it made us both a bit sad. Not that we regret the decision to not have anymore kids, we both feel at peace with that decision and happy to move on to the next stage of our lives, but sad that each moment/day with our kids we will never have back. It sure makes us treasure each day with them more and more. (FYI..Beau will be making his 'appointment' next week! And for all those that said otherwise or were wondering, they would have done the procedure while I was pregnant!)
Most everyone has said that Asher looks like Beau. Beau and I really can't tell, but we were looking at pictures of when Kerrigan was born and we realized that they look almost identical as newborns. I'll have to post some pictures for comparison. Kerrigan had a bit more hair and kept her reddish skin for a little longer, but the faces are the same!

funny but joey used to scream during a diaper change too. I think it's trauma from the circ. lol. seriously though. He didn't do it before his circ.. just after for MONTHS.

Oh,how I can relate to the "last one" syndrome. Max is losing his baby fat and it's killing me.
He looks so cute there all snuggled in his bouncer...awww....I remember those first weeks. Look waht you're doing to me, Lenette.
He is such a beautiful baby!!! Enjoy every second and thanks for reminding me to do the same. Oh, I wish I was there to hold and snuggle him!!
