ADAM!!

We met Adam when we first moved to Washington State 9 years ago. He worked for Beau and he was like 19. He spent Thanksgivings and Easters with us and was there when both Olivia and Taryn were born. It's hard to think that we've known him for so long, especially when we move around so much and often our friendships don't survive such long distances. We've been fortunate to live a little bit closer to Adam since we've been here, and we've had a couple of opportunities to see him since we've been here. We were lucky enough to have him come and visit us this last weekend. It was a nice visit! He's so kind with the girls and put up with their craziness rather well for a single guy in his 20's! He's such a kind guy, quiet, easy going and very accommodating. A goofy picture of the two, but I guess that's why they're friends!
This picture just makes me laugh and warms my heart! Olivia and Taryn set up what they called a, 'Special Surprise Birthday Celebration' for Beau on Sunday. They had 8 'activities' set up around the room. Puzzles and games (mostly princess themed), that the guys had to play and then win a prize (special toys that Olivia collected from around her room). The guys were a good sport, all though they didn't actually make it through all 8. Adam just helped Taryn with a puzzle and Beau played Connect Four and Crazy Eights.
