The Real Reason We Went To DC

We actually stayed at the Omni Shoreham for two nights and on Thursday we headed off to Arlington to visit Frankie. There were a couple of funerals going on at the time and as you can imagine it was difficult for Brooke to be there during them so we went on a little tour of the Cemetery. Kennedy's grave and The Tomb of The Unknown Soldier. We got there just in time for the Changing of the Guards, so amazing.
This is the flower garden that was left for Frankie for his Birthday....and some that Brooke and I added that day.

We went back on Sunday and I brought him a pumpkin so he could celebrate Halloween

And Here is us...Hanging out with Frankie!
And that's it our trip...yes, there were other things like all the fabulous food we ate (let me just say I think I might have gained like 20lbs), and the crazy motorcade we saw (still not sure who it was, but someone VERY important passed by our hotel), and my very fantastic night time driving. Thank you Brooke for the great trip, I love you! You know I wish we never had to take this trip, but since it is what it is.......love you!
