Mother's Day was really nice this year! Actually it probably was the nicest one I've had since being a mom! Beau let me waste the day away in my bed on Saturday. I came downstairs around 11am to flowers and cards. The girls were so excited to give me flowers and a 'singing' card. Beau totally surprised me and got me Rascal Flatts tickets! They're my favorite! Then on Sunday an old friend of mine from my NY days came for a short but nice visit. Danielle and I attended the same church in NY. I hadn't seen her since Beau and I got married until Frankie's funeral. She was in the area for a wedding. It was really nice having her here. She came to church with us and then home for lunch.
Then for dinner Beau made me these yummy chocolate stuffed french toast with raspberry sauce! Ohh HEAVEN! He's made them for me before but he didn't remember, but he did just as good of a job! I have the best husband!
