Baby Shower

I've been wanting to make this cake for someones baby shower for a while now and I finally got the opportunity! A friend from church had a little girl and we had her baby shower last night. It was small and intimate and soooo much fun! We played some really fun games, ate some yummy food and had some good laughs! My friend Jessica and I did the cake together and it really was a team effort! I think it turned out pretty cute if I do say so myself! The pictures really don't do it too much justice. And it tasted really good too. Lemon cake(courtesy of Jessica), a filling of homemade lemon curd(courtesy of moi) and lemon flavored fondant and butter cream (courtesy of both!) Can't wait to make another one(I have a bunch of other ideas brewing)....someone have a baby! :)
