Marrying a man with the last name Hussey has always made for a lot of funny situations. I've always embraced it...come on it's pretty funny. I love to see the looks on other peoples faces when they don't know me and I round up my girls my saying "all little Hussey's lets go!", it's pretty funny! Well last night Beau and I had a conversation with Olivia that was pretty funny. Preface-Olivia had told a lie and we had sent her up to her room while we decided on punishment. Then we went up there together to talk to her. This is part of the conversation that occurred.
M-Olivia you're a Hussey and Hussey's don't lie.
B-You know you're a Hussey right? (Olivia nodding her head thru tears)
B-Mommy's a Hussey, Taryn's a Hussey, Kerrigan's a Hussey, and daddy's a Hussey and Hussey's don't lie Hussey's are honest.
Okay I was trying so hard not to laugh, I was almost peeing my pants and Beau was trying hard not to laugh too, but we were really trying to make a point to Olivia that she needed to have some honor in her name and have some pride in who she is. It's just a little bit harder when you have a pretty racy name.

You two are such good parents... and even with the last name Hussey... you are the best Husseys that I know! Your girls should be proud to have your last name. I know I give you a hard time about it, but one day your girls will grow up to be big Hussey's like you, and will make you proud parents! :) (That should be a reader's digest story)!!
