5 Months

Kerrigan is 5 months old today! I know I say this every month, but I can't believe she is this old already! It is all just flying by so quickly. As you can tell she is trying very hard to sit up. She is also trying really hard to roll from her back to her front and is very close. She mastered the front to back roll several months ago and while it is an impressive feat at that age, it's really starting to get annoying, because she does it in the middle of the night, wakes her self up and then can't get back to sleep so she cries. Ugh, it's like having a newborn again! I'm hoping that is coming to an end though, last night she went down at 7pm woke up once at 2:30, I put her paci back in her mouth and I had to wake her up for church this morning at 7:30. So we may be on to something. Speaking of the pacifier, neither Olivia or Taryn ever hand an interest in one (even after months of forcing one on them) and Kerrigan was no different, but my friend Brenda suggested I try a different kind and sure enough it worked and that has help a ton! Now I can stifle the screams in the middle of church! :) That girl has a set of lungs on her, she's not upset just finding her voice. She is starting to laugh a lot and is still so smiley. She defiantly loves her mommy and will cry if I walk past her and don't pick her up. This also frustrates her daddy, especially if he is feeding her. I can't talk or else she is constantly looking for me and not concentrating on eating. Her big sisters just love her so much and Olivia especially is a big help. She loves to hold her and talk to her. Taryn still likes to smother her with kisses and we're constantly telling her to stay out of her face not only because of the smothering factor, but because Kerrigan likes to grab her glasses. She is just that sweetest baby and I just love her to pieces!
Taryn wouldn't sit down for a picture, she always has to be difficult! So it's just two of my pretty girls.
