Foot Update
Kerrigan had her Orthopedic appt on Tuesday and we are happy to say that her foot is fine and she won't need any procedures or further visits to the Dr. The Dr. just called it a "packaging problem" :) basically it was the way she was positioned in my tummy and it will just get better on it's own as she continues to grow. Beau and I were pretty certain that this is what they would tell us, but we still felt we need to get it checked out. We did have to drive 3hrs to UNC Hospital for her to be seen, but Beau and I were both happy that we were able to take her to a really great hospital and have her seen by an excellent Specialist that has been in practice for 20yrs. it really was a blessing! He also eased our minds about Olivia's hip problems and told us that by age 7 either the hips will straighten out or they won't and if they don't it won't be harmful to her. He said in 20years in practice he's only done a procedure to correct they problem once! That was very encouraging! So, now we only have to get Kerrigan to the cardiologist and we will be all over with these silly drs. appts. I know they are only to make sure that they are healthy, but it's a little annoying to have to go to these specialists when you know your children are fine. I guess it's better to be safe.
