Isn't he sweet?

I guess one should never let their husband have the password to the blog! He is a man of few words, yet very sweet! Now that you all have thrown up at how mushy our family is...;) I hope you still come back to check out our blog from now on!:)

Things have just been plugging along here in the land of the Hussey's. Not too much excitement, just the anticipation of our little girl. The baby's room is almost done, Beau finished painting it last weekend and all it needs now is the chair rail and a few more decorations. On Monday we had a Maternity Open House at the Hospital, it was an orientation and a tour of the maternity ward. I started to get really nervous, and then when I saw this little baby in the nursery I was really excited! Just a few more weeks (hopefully) and she will be here! Then our little family will be complete!

We are pretty much adjusted to our new area and have a pretty good routine in place so far. I know that is about to change once our newest addition gets here, but for now we are in a good place. We put Olivia in dance classes about a month ago and she is doing really well! The first class she just cried and cried and wouldn't participate, but we had a long talk and she told me she still wanted to go. So we established no crying and listening to our teacher rules and now she is doing awesome! She has picked up the moves and the dances very quickly and with the exception of a few coordination issues you would never know that she has only been to about 4 lessons. I am so proud of her. I can't wait for her recital in May (hopefully she'll decided to preform!)

Taryn like usual is Taryn! Causing chaos and just being so darn cute about it all. She is as sassy as ever and has been quite a little munchkin this past week! She is testing the waters a lot, but has been extra snugly. I have to share one story though, partly funny, partly embarrassing, but mostly just an example of Taryn. I had invited 2 friends over to the house for a play date last week (I also had asked one of the mom's to fix Taryn's hair). One of my friends brought her two girls aged 2 and 4 1/2, and my other friend brought her 3 year old girl. So all the girls were upstairs playing and all of a sudden the little one came downstairs crying, her mommy scooped her up and we all just assumed she was sad because she wanted her mom. Well then came her older daughter the 4 year old and she was crying! A few seconds later here came the 3 year old crying! All of us mom's had this half laughing half confused look on our faces. I walked to the stairs to find out what was going on and Olivia was on her way down the stairs (not crying) but there was Taryn at the top of the stairs with her hands on her hips and this bossy little look on her face! We couldn't get out what had happened from the other little girls, but Olivia told me that Taryn was yelling at the girls and telling them to go into another room! So leave it to my daughter, we invite friends over and then the little one makes them all cry! Heaven help us when she starts school! When Beau came home I told him what had happened and when Taryn got up from her nap he asked her if she had friends over and if she had played nice. She looked at him and in a matter-of-fact tone said "No, I played naughty!"

Another quick story. We finally were able to DVR the Wizard of Oz for the girls to watch. After Taryn got a chance to watch it they girls were pretending that they were the characters and guess who Taryn told me she was?....She comes over to me and says with a little growl "I'm the wicked witch!" Not the good witch or Dorothy, but yes the wicked witch! Isn't she something!

So there is a little update. Hope all is well with all of you in blog land!
