Our most exciting news for the week is that as of June 1st Beau will officially be a 1st Class Petty Officer!!! Although we knew this was going to happen we've been waiting months for him to finally advance on the list. I am so proud of him and the hard work he's put in to make this happen. He had to take a few tests and of course serve time on a boat for at least a year in order to make this advancement. Of course he showed little emotion, but I was so thrilled for him and for our family. This "promotion" will come with a small pay raise and of course our transfer to North Carolina.
I had my Dr. appt a few weeks ago and had my 1st ultrasound. I've been given 2 different due dates, but they are very close together. December 27th and 29th. I'll have another ultrasound on the 11th and I'll probably be given another date. I've been feeling a little bit better these days, but the mornings and evenings are still pretty rough. I'm still pretty tired and I'm in that really frustrating spot with my clothes. I'm not big enough to wear maternity close, but I'm having a hard time fitting into my own clothes. I just look like I'm getting a little chubby, but not pregnant yet! I can't wait to feel that sweet baby moving in my belly. The girls are so funny, Olivia insists that there is "a baby boy in your belly", and she told me that when she grows up and is 28 she wants "a baby boy in her belly."
I've been really busy at work lately. I got a temporary promotion which has taken up a lot of my time. I'm putting in a lot of hours right now, but they have finally hired someone perminant for the job and hopfully in about 2 wks or so I'll have trained her enough so that I can stay at home for the a few weeks before we move. My step-sister comes on tuesday to stay with us for the next month and we are so excited for her visit. We've been talking it up with the girls for the last week or so. Olivia was a little hesitant at first to give up her bed, but now she is so excited that she gets to sleep in her Dora sleeping bag. We have a lot of things planned for when she comes. Of course Disney World, Sea World, Busch Gardens, the beach, the pool and of course hopfully a few nights out with just me and Beau!
Olivia is still in swimming and Spanish and will start Soccer this week. Taryn is just being sweet Taryn. She has been very huggy lately and I just love her little arms wrapped around my neck. She loves to give 'ugs' and kisses and of course still loves to torment her sister. They are the best girls a mommy could have and I can't wait to add this last little one to our family. So that's all in the Hussey lives as of late. More to come later!!
