Last year when Taryn was really little and before I bought the double stroller, I was having a really hard time getting Olivia to stay with me in the stores and not run off. I was at my wits end and someone suggested I get one of those leashes for kids. I was so adament that I was not going to put my child on a leash! Well, I ate my words! I bought this little monkey backback , it's tail is the leash. I never actually had to use it though because she freaked out so badly when Beau and I tried to try it on her. All I had to say for the longest time when she wanted to run away from me was "do you want me to get the mokey?". I finally got the double stroller so I didn't have a problem any more. Yesterday she said to me that she wanted 'curious george'. I didn't know what she was talking about until I noticed that she was pointing at the monkey. She wanted to put it on and she walked around for a while with "Curious George" on her back. I guess she's gotten over her fear of the monkey! She cracks me up!
Olivia finally decided that she wanted her ear's pierced again. We pierced them when she was 10 mo. old and we had to take them out because they got really infected.
I've been asking her on and off for a while now and she kept telling me no, until two monday's ago. One of her little friends came in with these dangly earings and all of a sudden she's coming up to me and asking to get her "ear pierced, just like Taylor's". So we went that day, I didn't want to give her time to change her mind:). She was so brave sitting up on the chair. However she screamed so loud when they finally did the piercing. I felt so bad and I almost cried. Well, anyone she loves them and goes around asking everyone where their 'ear pierced' are. It's really cute.
