I can't believe it!

The counsler thats been coming to my house once a week has been wonderful! Her name is Paula. She is just a sweet lady that tells you like it is and just has been a big help. For the last 6 months or so I've had a problem with Olivia getting out of her bed everynight after I put her down to bed. She would get up at least 5 times every night. This last week it has escalated a little more and she was falling asleep to early and then waking up at around 9 or 10pm and then not letting me sleep. Anyway, Paula told me she needed to be taking a nap still and that even if she didn't sleep she needed to be taking some quiet time again. ( I was making her have quiet time before, but kinda let that slide.) Well we had a battle today over quiet time, but after about an hour she finally fell asleep. I let her sleep for about and hour an a half and then I went and woke her up,( which I never do if I can help it because she is a bear!). She woke up very nicely (with help from Paula) and she was very nice to Taryn even after she woke up! Amazing! Then we worked on her bedtime routine we started about an hour before I wanted them down for bed, they took a bath, brushed their teeth, had a story said their prayers, went potty and then went down for bed. Wouldn't you know it, I didn't hear a peep out of either one of them! Olivia took a nap and went down for bed at 8:30 and never got out of bed ONCE!! Miracles never cease! Lets just hope that this is a precident and it happens every night from here on out!
